Asifa case : C M orders dismissal of four policemen from service | KNO

Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has ordered the dismissal of service of four policemen who were allegedly involved in Rasana rape and murder case as also in destroying the crucial evidence of the crime. Official sources told that the Sub Inspector Ananad Dutta and Head Constable Tilak Raj were found guilty of destroying the evidence by fabricating the story of crime and providing wrong lead. The Head constable Tilak Raj had washed clothes of the victim to change the course of investigation .

Both have been arrested . As per the Crime Branch charge sheet filed in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Kathua , the policemen were guilty of destrying the evidence.” Two others- SPOs Deepak Khajuria and Surinder Kumar who are among those listed as those who perpetrated the crime of the rape and murder of Asifa , too , would be dismissed from service. The orders to this effect may be issued soon.
